Overview

Biograph was a publishing service for family memoirs. Despite notable success, they were evolving. The business would now specialize in technology, and the legacy brand didn’t suit that. We set out to create a full rebrand to get comfortable in the new venture.

Goals

Refresh the aesthetic for the technology space without ignoring company history.
Optimize design system for screens, being sure the symbol alone conveys function at tiny sizes.
Communicate the transformative nature of autobiography.

Discovery & Iteration

After conducting research about the brand’s history and interviewing the founders, I sketched out ways to blend the client’s legacy B + G monogram with their new, audio-based iOS platform. Based on the client’s feedback, I presented a series of lock-ups for critique.

Delivery

Based on client feedback, I delivered a logo package and continued to work with the brand to implement their new logo into all their customer touchpoints.

Website

After working for around a year on their iOS app, we got together to build a new landing page for their Wordpress site. This landing page was built in Webflow and linked back to their Wordpress site seamlessly. The brief was minimal, and I completed some copywriting and strategic planning for this project as well as design. The form automatically populated to a CSV document and sent an email to the client.
