I. Client Overview
My client was a passionate travel aficionado with a sparkling vision for a captivating travel blog. She had already laid the foundation with a functional website and blog page but the its content (arcticles) were missing. That's where my expertise stepped in—to turn her passion into a tangible reality.
II. Challenges Faced
The website and blog page are ready, but the blog content is nonexistent.
The client, though enthusiastic, was not inclined to write the blog posts and decided to outsouce the task.
The client's expectation: a minimum of 4 engaging blog posts ready for launch.
III. My Strategic Role
As the Online Business Manager, my responsabilities were; streamline the hiring process which included:
Develop a Comprehensive Content Strategy: Aligned with the client's brand and the pulse of her target audience, we crafted a strategy that would make each blog post a journey in itself.
Create and Implement a hiring form and source talented freelance writers to generate captivating blog posts.
Implement a structured editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of the required 4 blog posts.
IV. Strategies and Implementation
Project Plannig
Braindump all the things we think will need to be done to launch a blog.
Organize and order the tasks from our braindump into broad categories.
Create an organized workflow (list) of prioritized tasks that should be done first.
Create a timeline for the blog launch and assign a date for every task in the list.
Assign Ownership: assign a team member to each task.
Hiring Properly
I crafted a job description.
Created the application form + process.
Conducted the screening aplication and recomend 2 best posible hires to the client for her to interviewing.
System Management
I set up Zapier to harmonize our processes: The application form seamlessly connected with my email ensuring a smooth and swift automatization.
Maintained Whatsapp communication with freelancer and Implement a structured editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of the required 4 blog posts.
V. Results Achieved
Four engaging and high-quality blog posts were successfully created and delivered within the specified timeframe.
The content not only met the client's expectations but also resonated well with the target audience, showcasing a blend of creativity and relevance.
