Bringing Marketers Together — One Notion Event at a Time

🗓 4 community events in 6 months 📍 Berlin 💡 Organized, hosted, and promoted entirely by me 💼 Sponsored by Notion

When I joined Notion as an ambassador I noticed there's a gap in community events that are specifically for Marketers using Notion.

So, I took the matters into my own hands and ideated & organized an event series called "Notion for Marketers".
In November 2024, I hosted the first event in Berlin.

Every event included:

✅ A curated location (co-working space, rooftop, meeting room) ✅ Top-tier marketers as speakers ✅ Icebreaker games to avoid encourage connections ✅ Great food, drinks, and conversations
I took care of all the logistics — invites, location scouting, coordination, promotion, follow-ups & more.
Here's the networking bingo game I came up with to facilitate connections during the latest event (every guest got a pdf printout and the goal was to check off each box on the page by finding the person):
Magier where I was leading marketing at the time, was one of the co-sponsors of the event series, so I integrated them into the events seamlessly & prepared the promo materials.

How it went:

Concepted the event series, pitched it to Notion, got approval + budget
Sourced venues, catering, speakers, sponsors
Created promo assets and documented all events myself + shared across LinkedIn + Slack communities
Designed the run of show, hosted the evenings, created free resources for the community and managed all follow-ups
Built the community one event at a time

The outcome:

Notion for Marketers 2.0
Notion for Marketers 2.0
4 sold-out events in 6 months
170+ marketers joined across all editions
Notion for Marketers 3.0
Notion for Marketers 3.0
Content, connections, and conversions — many attendees followed up for consulting, templates, tips, or to learn about our co-sponsors and hosts.

What I learned

People want connection, not just content
You don’t need a huge team to build community — just consistency
The right tools (Notion!) can bring order to the chaos. From the start I used Notion to plan and organize the events and came with a system templates, and everything to support event management, sharing it with fellow ambassadors.
Here's a mini walkthrough of how I organize events with Notion:
