The Southwest region of Western Australia is a haven for bird enthusiasts and a biodiversity hotspot boasting pristine natural landscapes. Birding Southwest run bespoke guided tours for bird lovers and photographers looking to see rare species in the wild. Taking inspiration from wildlife journals we created a brand that features avian beauty front and centre.
Who are Birding Southwest?
Our team of guides is made up of expert birders and wildlife enthusiasts excited to show you the beauty of the Australian Southwest region.
Having lived, worked, played and learned extensively across Western Australia throughout their lives our friendly guides know the best local spots, how to find the region’s natural hidden treasures and where the most elusive birds hide out.
The Direction
The Birding Southwest brand is built around the idea of discovery underpinned by an adventure-forward visual language.
After a review of other birding and fauna tour operators we noticed a sea of sameness and were given the green light to create something more exciting that both showcases the wonder of the Southwest and clearly guides website visitors to their desired destination.
We created a custom image treatment and illustrated icons that take inspiration from printed nature journals and hiking trail markers, two styles that put nature first and make you want to get outside and explore.
