The 72 Hours — Baggage recovery app

The problem

When a bag is delayed, passengers get location updates but not what really matters. How reliable is this update, and what can I do next? Around 24 million bags were mishandled in 2025, and 39% of those cases were linked to transfers (SITA).

What I did

Research synthesis and service mapping
Interface design for one case, from report to return
Interactive prototype, checked for contrast, 44 px touch targets and text reflow

Confirmed, expected or unknown

A confirmed airline scan and a planned recovery flight get different labels. The app never turns a plan into a promise, so passengers know what they can rely on.

Expenses and help without starting over

Receipts, the claim deadline and case details travel with the passenger. When they ask for support, the agent already has the whole case.

One case, from report to return

Found, planned, claim, help. Four moments in one place. Independent concept with an interactive prototype.
