For many visitors, access to a museum starts long before the door. Sound, light, crowds and stairs can decide whether someone goes at all, and that information is rarely easy to find.
What I did
Desk research and visit flows
Interface design for 35 core screens
Accessibility decisions for sound, light, movement and support
Know before you go
Visitors check sound, light and movement in each room before they travel, in plain language and without having to ask.
Control during the visit
Prepare, pause, ask for help. The guide can be paused at any time, and visitors can contact staff with a ready-made message instead of explaining themselves out loud.
A calmer route
A route with fewer stairs and quieter areas, one tap away. Independent concept with a clickable Figma prototype. The next step is co-design with visitors and museum teams.
