Client Overview
Olivea is a Nigerian-based spa and beauty brand designed to offer premium, ritualistic experiences centered on self-care, natural beauty, and emotional wellness. It targets modern African women who prioritize not just outer beauty, but inner peace, balance, and authenticity.
The Challenge
While Olivea had a vision for a luxury self-care brand, it lacked a distinctive identity system that captured the emotional and ritualistic depth it aimed to provide. The founder was very clear, she didn’t want the brand to look like just another wellness spa.
The Solution
I developed a full-spectrum visual identity system rooted in softness, minimalism, and emotional luxury, crafted to resonate deeply with Olivea’s core audience.
I positioned Olivea not just as a spa, but as a sanctuary for ritualistic care and feminine self-renewal.
Every visual element was designed to speak to calmness, intimacy, and sacred beauty.
I avoided cliché symbols (like lotus flowers or leaf icons) and instead focused on a pure typographic elegance and earth-toned palettes.

I curated and directed image moodboards featuring: Textural close-ups of skin, stone, petals, oils; Natural light and warm shadows; Ritual-like treatments being performed.
This built an emotional vocabulary for the brand, one that invites customers into moments of pause, warmth, and touch.

I selected a palette rooted in earthy serenity:
7d0033 (deep berry) – symbolizing richness, care, femininity
fc9a84 (soft blush) – emotional, welcoming, and elegant
fcf4ee (nude cream) – minimal, warm, and breathable
This palette embodies the spa’s core: softness, care, and natural beauty.

For the brand applications, I explored potential touchpoints like product packaging, spa robes, oils, and interior scenting accessories. The brand’s color palette and logo system was tested across bottles, towels, and signage to ensure elegance and consistency in physical spaces.

The Olivea identity now:
Positions the brand clearly in the luxury spa and wellness space, while retaining feminine African subtlety.
Provides a scalable, modular design system for all brand communication channels, from Instagram to interior decor.
Emotionally connects with the target audience, celebrating warmth, softness, and empowered femininity.
Looks premium, modern, and culturally resonant without overused wellness tropes.
