OMAR HALIMI | ALBUM ART DESIGN

This project was for the development of album covers for an artist called Omar Halimi, for his 2 singles, called My Home & Without me. They are currently available to stream or purchase on various platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify & more.

The concept behind the design was based on the narrative described in the lyrics of the song, specifically the line that says, “...all I did was lose me.” The imagery is therefore based on a reflection in a foggy dream state, where the artist see’s a reflection of himself that is falling apart based on the feeling of losing a part of what felt like home, hence the song title ‘My Home’.

The imagery is therefore based on the premise of acknowledging the past & looking to a bright future, hence the imagery of the sunrise over the dunes at dawn with the artist looking in the direction of the sunrise.

To create the imagery for each album cover, I shot a variety of photo’s & with a bit of Lightroom & Photoshop magic, I was able to bring both concepts to life.
