DNA Media is a video production studio that lives on storytelling. The ask was straightforward: build a website. What the project became is closer to a short film you scroll through.
The idea. A portfolio platform where the interface moves the way their work does. Section transitions follow an editorial rhythm. Micro interactions respond without announcing themselves. By the time a visitor reaches the work itself, they have already felt the studio's sensibility, before reading a word of copy.
Motion as structure. The animation system was built as structure, not decoration. Every motion element has a job: directing attention, marking a shift in context, or holding pace between sections. Still, intentional, purposeful. The same principles the studio applies on set.
Brand in parallel. The identity was developed alongside the site rather than applied to it afterwards. Typography, colour, and the rules for how motion behaves across the studio's materials. The website became its first full application, so the system that holds a title card also holds the interface.
Result. The site is now part of the portfolio it presents. The craft is visible from the first scroll.
