Anyone can start a blog, but only some can maintain a content schedule consistent enough to keep its readers engaged. In the below examples I have contributed to content creation and maintained a content calendar.
Theatre Is Easy (Theasy.com) is committed to connecting audiences to New York theatre. Through trustworthy reviews written by theatre practitioners, Theasy offers quick and easy information about what's playing on Broadway, off Broadway, and downtown. We believe that growing an audience starts with accessibility, and that's why we are passionate about championing the work we love.
After establishing itself as a reputable publication for theatre criticism, Theatre Is Easy wanted to give their contributing writers opportunities for content writing. This would be perfectly in line with their mission to champion work its writers and editorial staff love. Thus, the Theasy Blog was born, and it became full of interviews and profiles of local New York City theatre artists.
As a writer, I selected theatre companies or artists I either had an established relationship with or loved from afar. Then, I either emailed them interview questions, or scheduled a time to interview in person. After conducting the interview and receiving their responses, I transcribed the interview and edited it for publication. Here are some samples of the blog posts I wrote for the Theasy Blog:

OOB Festival Blog

Concord Theatricals presents the Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival (OOB) is the nation’s leading short play festival. Beyond playwrights, the Festival has given voice to many emerging directors, performers, and production companies.
For the OOB blog, between 2016 and 2019 I wrote content and maintained a content calendar. The goal of the blog was to promote the writers who made it into the final round of the festival while also drumming up excitement for the performances.
Using Wordpress, I wrote, edited, and published various blog posts ranging from author profiles, new projects from previous finalists and winners, and general festival updates. For each post I also added various SEO keywords, and after publishing I sent a link to the marketing team so they could promote the post on social media. Sometimes I also assigned posts to interns, and managed their account access so that I could properly credit them for their work. I also edited and proofread their posts before publishing them. Below are some samples of the blog posts I wrote for the OOB blog:
