Pulse & Form: a booking system for a one-coach fitness studio
12 out of 12 spots filled, and the coach never touched her phone. That’s what a busy morning looks like with Pulse & Form.
In Inman Park, Atlanta, there are small studios where one coach does everything. Classes fill up fast, people book through Instagram DMs while she’s teaching, and when someone cancels late, that spot just sits empty. Jade, the coach in this project, is a composite of those real studios.
I built a system where members handle everything on their own. Booking takes about 30 seconds and doesn’t need an account. If a class is full, members join the waitlist, and when a spot opens, the next person gets 15 minutes to claim it. Everyone gets a reminder 12 hours before class to confirm or release their spot. Cancelling is free up to 8 hours before, and after that the $15 fee is waived if someone else takes the spot.
Jade gets one screen with the roster, check-ins, the waitlist and every message sent. Double bookings can’t happen, even when two people grab the last spot at the same moment.
Try the demo: click “Enter demo as Jade”, then “Simulate the 6 AM rush”. In 60 seconds you’ll see a full morning play out. A DM joins the waitlist, people cancel, spots refill, and the class ends 12/12 without Jade replying to anyone.
