Overview Calypso Home makes cookware, tableware, and textiles. One logo, built to survive every surface the brand touches.
The Idea In myth, Calypso was the nymph who welcomed travelers to her island and made them want to stay. I drew her with her arms raised toward the north star, then kept abstracting until only the gesture was left: a "Y" opening upward, holding a four-pointed star.
The Mark One custom letter. Everything else stays quiet — thin geometric capitals, wide-tracked "HOME" steadying the base. Forest green, charcoal, and warm ivory, pulled from the products themselves.
In Use Engraved on metal. Printed under glaze. Debossed into leather. Foil stamped on packaging. Mounted as signage.
At the width of a storefront or a thumbnail, the star is still there.
Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma
