Jay's Cafe Branding

Jay's Cafe is a personal project I created to explore branding for a physical location instead of just online, thus all designs had real-world tangible products and printed advertisements in mind. Since Jay's Cafe is fictional, I chose to create an ideal cozy cafe that I would personally enjoy, one where anyone who comes feels like they could hangout for an afternoon and experience a home away from home.

The logotype is intended to be very friendly and inviting. The hand-drawn lettering is meant to show the depth of care that goes into each cup of coffee and individual experience. The style is playful and the level of detail shows uniqueness.

The colours are inspired by cups of coffee, emphasizing the main focus of the cafe, and the supporting font "Kreon" is structured yet inviting which balances the hand-lettered logo and additional lettering.
