Project Overview

JOVIS is a Berlin-based publishing house specializing in architecture, urbanism, and related fields. Their books cover a diverse range of topics, encouraging broader community engagement in architectural policy debates and design topics. In collaboration with prestigious entities worldwide, JOVIS partners with universities, architecture firms, and cultural and commercial initiatives. The website offers a range of publications in digital and print formats, as well as publishing opportunities and access to events.

I became part of the project following a collaboration with the Berlin-based design studio Neue Gestaltung Gmbh, who completed a rebranding and established the initial website as a static design. My role involved expanding on their proposal, by developing the interactions, enhancing existing features on the homepage, and crafting entirely new pages such as the series landing page and checkout process. I was also responsible for refining the product pages and introducing features to cater to various publication types, including open-access books. My work also encompassed adapting these designs for mobile versions, where I created interactive prototypes.
