Vibe Weekend Dial – Signature Microinteraction in Rive
This project explores how the first screen of a product can become an expressive experience that emotionally connects with users—starting with their mood.
🎛️ Designed and animated in Rive, this dial allows users to set their weekend vibe through motion. Instead of choosing from static options, they rotate a dial that visually responds to their energy—energized, chill, or tired—turning a basic input into a signature moment.
🧠 Inspired by Design Thinking and UX motion principles, the animation includes:
— A smooth, circular drag interaction
— Dynamic transitions between energy states (icons, colors, mood)
— Subtle easing and glow for a more tactile feel
⚙️ Fully interactive and ready to be implemented in apps, websites, or prototypes, this piece adds emotional depth to an otherwise functional screen—making the interface more human, playful, and responsive.
