It's 2021. Now what?

Welcome to the journal of wandering minds. What began as a passion project to beat the Corona blues became a constant in our lives. In meetings, we begin by writing freely based on the prompts provided by the host. After, each member reads out their piece to the group and other members comment. The meetings are free and supportive, encouraging each other on our writing and catching up on what’s going on in our lives. To commemorate this journey, we’ve put together out 2nd book- Turtle Steps.

Crafting Turtle Steps- The Second Leg of the Journey

Turtle Steps Cover and Chapter Illustration (Young.Geulling)
Our second publication was born from a year of looking inward and feeling the pressure to bounce back after a period of utter chaos. While some baked bread or kickstarted new ventures during their time stuck at home, many of us wondered if we were falling short for not doing the same. But hey, who says we're failures for taking things at our own pace? This book is a gentle nudge to remind us that progress doesn't always have to be lightning-fast; sometimes, it's perfectly fine to just move it along slow and steady like Aesop's tortoise. Each chapter mirrors a stage in the tortoise's journey: a leisurely stroll, breaks to smell the flowers, and the occasional stumble. But just like our slow and steady friend, we hope our readers will find their way, too."
