Project Overview

Conceived and launched Kadena’s Community Workboard as a lightweight, public-facing contribution system to turn builder interest into real ecosystem output, which became especially crucial during the Chainweb EVM Testnet phase. The Workboard sat between a bounty board, an open roadmap, and a task marketplace: it let developers discover, self-select, and complete ecosystem needs (docs, tooling, sample apps, integrations) with clear context and ownership. The goal was simple: reduce ambiguity, create structured contribution paths beyond hackathons, and scale coordination without heavyweight process.

Impact

Designed and shipped the Community Workboard 0→1 as a scalable coordination layer between internal priorities and external builder capacity.
Created structured contribution paths beyond hackathons, helping convert community excitement into executable work across docs, tooling, and sample projects.
Drove ~60% engagement from the target community by making tasks discoverable, scoped, and easy to self-select.
Supported EVM ecosystem activation efforts tied to hackathons and Testnet momentum (e.g., 51 Testnet deployments and ~30 active projects during the EVM push).
Demonstrated product leadership without formal authority in bridging engineering, marketing, and external developers to ship a high-leverage ecosystem system.
