Crypto wallets have a trust and usability problem. Most wallet apps either look like they were designed by engineers for engineers (dense data tables, hex addresses everywhere, zero visual hierarchy) or they oversimplify to the point of hiding critical information. New users feel overwhelmed. Experienced traders feel limited. And everyone worries about security.

Kraster needed a wallet app that makes crypto feel as safe and intuitive as traditional banking, without dumbing down the functionality that serious users need.

The design process started in Figma, where every screen was built to balance security confidence with ease of use.

Key design decisions:

Portfolio overview at a glance. The home screen shows total portfolio value, 24-hour change, and a clean breakdown of holdings by asset. A portfolio chart visualizes performance over time with toggleable timeframes (1D, 1W, 1M, 1Y, ALL). Users know exactly where they stand the moment they open the app.

Asset cards with live data. Each cryptocurrency is displayed as a card showing current price, percentage change, holdings amount, and USD value. Color-coded indicators (green for gains, red for losses) make scanning the portfolio instant.

Secure transaction flow. Sending and receiving crypto follows a step-by-step flow with clear confirmation screens, fee breakdowns, and biometric authentication. Every transaction shows a plain-language summary before final confirmation: "You're sending 0.5 BTC ($15,230) to [address]. Network fee: $2.10."

Real-time market data. Live price charts, order books, and market cap rankings for all supported assets. The data updates in real-time without manual refresh. Watchlists let users track assets they don't yet hold.

Multi-wallet support. Users can manage multiple wallets (hardware, software, exchange-linked) from a single interface. Each wallet shows its own balance and transaction history while the portfolio view aggregates everything.

Security-first design. Biometric login, transaction PIN, seed phrase backup with guided setup, and session timeout controls. Security features are prominent but not intrusive. The app communicates safety through design, not just disclaimers.

Dark theme with crypto-native aesthetics. Deep blacks with electric blue and purple accents create a premium, tech-forward feel. The visual language signals sophistication and security. Gradient cards and subtle glow effects add depth without clutter.
