A design inspired by Aztec mythology for Nepal’s very first tequila, made from 100% Mexican Agave

Created by Yeti Distillery, the company reached out for a design that clearly communicated the authenticity of the product, as well as the use of traditional production methods. To avoid overused tequila visuals, we delved deep into Aztec mythology and discovered that the personification of the Agave plant is a deity known as Mayahuel. Also the goddess of fertility and nourishment, she is said to have been a mother to 400 rabbits; the Aztec gods of intoxication, inspiring our Agave brand rabbit. Illustrated in a vintage style to add a heritage feel, the final design is intended to compete with other tequilas and Agave spirits that have been in production for much longer.
