Broad market research to develop a product strategy for reporting. Evaluated different capabilities of business intelligence platforms (MS Power BI / Qlik) to support advanced reporting capabilities (Financial Statements, Investment Reporting). Summarized conclusions of competitive landscape / gap analysis & built a 3-year model of cost to present to executive team. Stakeholders for the analysis included sales, technical teams, legal and operations. Presented findings to executive committee. Strategy was signed-off and implemented in phases with a governance process using stage gates.
