Colorado Springs Women’s Premiere Soccer League (WPSL) women’s team manager came to me wanting the team’s online presence to change. The have hired other social media managers and tried to manage the platforms themselves but rely on me as a graphic designer to create a professional, cohesive, easily accessible brand that meets WPSL's semi-professional standards before season kicks off.

As a former professional soccer player I use my knowledge of the game and league within my brand design skills learned within my undergrad to create a professional brand that elevates the team’s online presence with the goal to increase home-game attendance. The final product would result in 2-3 textfaces, a color palette, and a full template library that requires a passion for color theory and advanced sports media knowledge.

ANALYZE & ORGANIZE: I record the current status of each platform while taking note of clients preferences with a content calender that allows deadlines to live.

 RE-BRAND OPTIONS: I provide 2-3 fonts, color palettes, and aesthetics the club can choose from to enhance their online presence while providing specific sports industry advice per creative suggestion.

CREATION: I create a template library full of the following required templates that allows for current and future use by anyone. 

Sports Specific Templates Created: Pre-Match Day, Match Day, Starting XI, ‘Players to Watch’, Player introductions, Team ranking, national ranking, half time score, final score, goals per player, saves per goalkeeper, substitutions, sponsor specific games, game highlights, profile logos, covers per social platforms.

The general manager chose to work with me for a number of reasons:

I have played soccer all the way up to the professional level for 19-years.

I have studied and interviewed both players and coaches to broaden my knowledge within the soccer industry specifically.

As a goalkeeper, I am very detail oriented and highly transparent about where I am throughout my process.

I am very passionate about the representation of clubs and more importantly their athletes to ensure support for every level of athlete.

The club has reached out again asking for another few months of management due to their increase in following and increase in home-game ticket sales from the 2023 summer season.
