Overview

Before taking a meeting, an investor needs to understand what a company does, why it might be worth backing, and what deserves a closer look.
Pitch Protocol researches companies seeking funding and matches them with relevant funds. I designed the investor experience from the initial idea through launch, alongside the internal dashboard used to manage funds.

Challenge

Investors brought different questions to the same company. Some started with revenue and traction; others wanted to understand the founders and their problem. Dense reports buried those starting points, while compact dashboards stripped away the context that explained the business.
An AI recommendation also needed to earn trust. Investors had to see the evidence behind a finding and understand how the system interpreted their requests.

Outcome

Through investor interviews, workshops, and repeated layout explorations, I shaped a concise company summary connected to a deeper review. Investors could start with the business and recommendation, then follow individual findings to supporting evidence and original sources. Confidence indicators made uncertainty visible.
I paired natural-language search with visible, editable filters, so investors could check and adjust how AI interpreted a request. Saved Views supported both handpicked companies and criteria that kept matching new applications.
Investors used the recommendations and scores to choose companies to review and founders to meet. I also used AI-assisted coding to prototype interactions and ship frontend improvements.
