Description

Tregeo plants saplings and supports them to become trees. People at Tregeo create urban and rural forests, support farmers with fruit trees, rejuvenate lakes and water bodies and install solar lamps in villages.

Concept

Tregeo is a nonprofit organisation that helps rural and urban communities create sustainable forests. They restore forests on the land, waterways and shorelines. People at Tregeo believe that the creation of community forests is the most direct way to fight against climate change - by engaging communities, who own these forests and share them with others; they build resilience against climate change.
