Salary Prediction for Tech Jobs Dashboard

This dataset provides a comprehensive collection of job postings from Glassdoor.com between 2017 and 2018, containing valuable information for tech job seekers. It comprises various features such as job title, salary estimate, job description, rating, company name, location, headquarters, size, founded year, type of ownership, industry, sector, revenue, and competitors. Additionally, it also includes essential features such as hourly wage minimum and maximum, average salary, number of competitors, and job description length.

Although the dataset provides a lot of valuable data, it required cleaning to make it more useful. The cleaning process involved removing duplicates, fixing text cases, removing blank spaces, and eliminating unnecessary columns that did not contain valuable information, such as age, job description, hourly, minimum and maximum salary, employer-provided, and R.

I found this dataset particularly intriguing since it has provided me with valuable insights into the job market dynamics. It has made me aware of which jobs are in high demand, which skills are needed, and the salary range in various states. It is an excellent resource for those who wish to pursue a career in data science.
