Lyra is a dashboard concept for teams that hand everyday work to AI agents. In one view you can see what got automated, how much time it saved and how each agent is doing, and you can ask the built-in AI assistant anything. I designed the dashboard and animated it into a 10-second product film.
The challenge
AI agent tools often show either too little (just a chat box) or too much (logs and settings everywhere). Teams need a calm overview they can trust at a glance, plus a quick way to ask a question and act on the answer.
What's on the screen
Key numbers – Tasks automated, time saved and accuracy, each with its change over the week.
AI performance chart – AI agents vs manual work across the week, with a hover tooltip and a date range picker.
Active agents – Support Copilot (running), Research Agent (training, with a progress bar) and Code Review Bot (queued), each with live status and volume.
Lyra Assistant – A dedicated panel with voice controls, a team activity feed (deploys, insights and shared files) and an "Ask Lyra anything" input with attachments and voice.
Simple navigation – Overview, Agents, Workflows, Insights, Knowledge and Settings.
The key moment: from question to action
In the film I ask Lyra "Who might churn this week?" It analyses the accounts, flags three at risk with a risk score for each, and has check-in emails drafted, with one "Send check-ins" button. The goal was to go from a question to a real action without leaving the dashboard.
Design decisions
Calm and minimal – Lots of white space, soft greys and one gradient accent reserved for the assistant.
Alive, not busy – Numbers tick up, the chart draws in and the feed updates, so the screen feels live without visual noise.
Status at a glance – Colour dots and progress bars show each agent's state without reading.
People and AI side by side – The activity feed mixes teammates and Lyra, so it's always clear who did what.
