Relay: Same-Day Courier App Motion UI

Relay is a same-day courier app for city deliveries. People book a pickup in a few taps and follow their rider live on a map until the parcel arrives. I designed the three core screens and animated them into a 10-second motion showcase, rendered in 4K at 60fps.

Booking a courier often means long forms, unclear prices and no idea where your parcel is. I wanted three moments to feel effortless: booking a pickup, checking on a delivery and tracking the rider live.

Send a parcel – Pickup and drop-off with a one-tap swap, three parcel sizes (Small up to 2 kg, Medium up to 8 kg, Large up to 20 kg) and two delivery speeds: Standard by 6 pm today, or Express in about 45 minutes for +$3.00. The total updates as you choose, with insurance up to $200 shown right under the price.

Home – A tracking-number search with a scan button, and a live "In transit" card with the item, order number, ETA countdown, a pickup-to-drop-off progress line and a barcode to show at drop-off. Recent deliveries sit below with clear status tags such as Done and Scheduled.

Live tracking – The rider's route on a map with an ETA bubble, an "Arriving in" panel with an On time badge and distance, the courier's name, vehicle and rating with one-tap chat and call, and a step-by-step delivery timeline.

Prices you can trust – Every option shows its cost right next to it, so there are no surprises at checkout.

ETA first – The arrival time is the biggest number on the home and tracking screens.

One accent system – Bold blue for the brand and yellow for actions and live states, so it's always clear what to tap and what is moving.

Calm layout – Rounded cards, generous spacing and a floating bottom bar keep a busy flow easy to scan.

The film follows one real delivery. The user switches to a Medium parcel and Express delivery, the total moves from $8.40 to $12.90 and the button confirms "Courier booked". The camera then glides to the home and tracking screens as the ETA counts down and the rider moves along the route, ending on the Relay logo and tagline: "Same-day courier across your city."
