Platform: mobile app for gym owners and practitioners
Timeline: 3 months
Tools: Figma
Delivered: research, personas, information architecture, sitemap, user flows, wireframes and 120+ high-fidelity screens
The challenge
The founder came with an idea, not a spec. The app had to serve two very different users at once: gym owners who manage memberships, and practitioners who want to train, learn and track their progress.
Process
I led the UX from the ground up: competitive analysis, a journey map and qualitative research, then personas and empathy maps for both the gym owner and the practitioner. From there I built the information architecture and sitemap, mapped the key user flows and tested the structure in mid-fidelity wireframes before any visual design.
Visual design and design system
A bold dark UI with a clear type scale, a colour system and reusable components, so every screen stays consistent as the product grows.
Final design
More than 120 high-fidelity screens covering onboarding, tutorials, gym membership, practitioner profiles and progress tracking.
Client review
"…Would recommend 10/10."
