Sunpass was introduced to Floridians in 1999 by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) as a solution for tolls used on major highways and freeways in Florida. The brand is used in signs, transponders, in tolls and digitally as well. However, the brand needs an update considering the different formats and usability requirements that brands need today.
By creating this brand redesign proposal, what I am looking for is to give the Sunpass brand new possibilities in terms of use, recognition, uniqueness, and usability targeted towards the future. The redesigned brand aims to allow Sunpass to expand its services nationwide and increase its value for those who are currently using it, as well as new users that can be attracted by the clean, modern, distinctive new design.
