Applai – Matching Platform for Internships & Talent Discovery

Applai is an innovative job-matching platform designed as a “Tinder for internships,” built to connect students with startups and SMEs through a smart, swipe-based user experience.

We developed the MVP using FlutterFlow, integrating Firebase for user authentication and a custom matching algorithm based on interests, skills, and company needs. The platform includes three user roles (student, company, university), and features such as profile creation, job offer management, and real-time matching.

Applai was successfully piloted at Esade University, where it helped streamline the internship discovery process. Many students participated, and more than 30 companies posted real opportunities. The pilot validated the product’s potential and offered critical feedback for iteration.

This project showcased our ability to design and build complex no-code platforms, fast, and with real-world validation.
