Football is the world’s most popular sport by a very large margin valued around $3.4 billion in 2024, it is watched by billions of people, around 3.5 - 4 billion fans across nearly every country in Europe, Asia, South & North America, Africa and Australia. It unites diverse cultures and demographics through major competitions like the FIFA World Cup and UEFA Champions league.

Given the massive amount of football fans available worldwide, it is impossible for everyone to be at the stadium whenever their favorite teams and players are playing in a high stakes match or even a friendly. The fans need an easy and accessible way to keep up with the match, get updates about major events like a red card, goal or a yellow card as soon as its happening.

As a football fan myself since i was a little boy, it was very easy for me to approach the problem from the perspective of the user. I understand the emotions and the feelings a fan goes through when their favorite team is either winning or losing. So i designed this to be super simple and intuitive for the user to use. I also added multiple features to the app so the user can check out details from previous matches, upcoming matches, their favorite team and player’s trophy cabinet, H2H record against a rival team, league standing, form table and so much more.

The homepage screens are basically daily livescore boards. Users can check out scores from previous matchdays and also see upcoming matches in the future

The details screen helps users see the most important events during the match and the time when they happened like yellow cards, red cards, goals, offsides and many more
