Goal:

In the early months of 2021, a client requested a website and brand upgrade, as her current one was made overnight by her and was lacking in any structure. She already had a very successful business offline, but she wanted to enter the online market with the concern of a continuing pandemic, and in the hope of creating a passive income when she wasn't training clients. She had a pre-existing logo and after consultation of her goals and ambitions, she agreed that the logo needed to be updated to fit within her new branding. Her goal for the website was to offer a platform to book sessions on, buy supplements, merchandise, and her training routines. Part of the request included a branded animation for her video introductions and the copywriting of her recipes and workouts.

Process:

To begin with, I had a consultation call with her to discuss the ins and outs of her brand and business, establishing clear points to hit in our project. Once the plan had been made, I went on brand research for the Western Australian fitness market, noting the strength and weaknesses of her competitors. Taking this in mind, I took her pre-existing branding and created a branding guidelines document, on which to guide the project. The website setup and design was a smooth process as I had consistent communication with her with the use of Notion. The website was finished well within the time restraint, and the client was ecstatic with the result, which led to her hiring me as a content creator for the following months afterward. During this time I provided tutorials and training on how to edit her content with her branding, how to adjust her website and everything in between.

Success:

In the months following the website delivery, I kept close track of her websites success, and immediately it took off to a great start with all her clients onboarding and making purchases. I took note of all the statistics whilst I was under contract, and from my last report with her, the website had shown an average 57% increase in traffic every week, and a humble average increase of 23% in sales weekly.
