Butterfly Girl is Grateful – Picture Book Illustration

Butterfly Girl is Grateful by Maryela Pinkston is a joyful story about gratitude, following a girl and her butterfly friends through everyday adventures. The brief asked US Illustrations, a children's book illustration studio, to illustrate the full book, design the main character and create the cover.

We illustrated the book in a rich, vibrant digital painting style. The main character, Butterfly Girl, was designed to be memorable and expressive, surrounded by colorful butterfly friends.

We started with character sketches and rough layouts, then built vibrant color and painted each spread. The cover was created to match the interior, and we refined the pages through revisions with the author.

The result is a bright, uplifting picture book and cover that celebrates gratitude. See more of our children's book work at https://usillustrations.com
