Nigeria Gateway – A Content Driven Platform
Project Overview
NigeriaGateway.com is a content-driven platform designed to engage audiences with essential, exciting and viral content about everything Nigeria. Unlike traditional news websites, NigeriaGateway.com aims to become a daily destination for users by offering curated stories, interactive media, and shareable content.
Problem Statement
Many Nigerian news websites focus on daily news and politics, making them heavy, text-centric, and sometimes overwhelming. NigeriaGateway.com needed a UX design that would prioritize engagement, repeat visits and an intuitive layout.
Research and Insights
To gain deeper insights into the target audience, I conducted user research focusing on three key groups. Each group was carefully selected based on their online content consumption habits, interests, and engagement with Nigerian culture and current events.
We prefer visually engaging, fast-loading content with intuitive navigation. The site should be easy on the eyes
