Overview
An agency contacted me to write a sales copy to convert leads from Meta Ads to paid subscribers. The brief was to make my writing as simple and relatable as possible while persuading the leads to take action.
How I approached the project
Market Research and Ideation: The first thing I did was employ Google Analytics, competitor's review sections, and Quora to get familiar with the target audience's behavior and pains. This served as a basis for my messaging in the copy. After that, I spied on top competitors to conduct a SWOT analysis, which allowed me to identify content gaps I could fill.
Client Communication: At every point during the project, I updated the clients on my progress. We held meetings on Google Meet for reports, which allowed me to listen to client's suggestions and strategically incorporate their feedback into the final deliverable.
Writing: I started the writing process by crafting variations of irresistible headlines. Using my knowledge of human psychology and persuasion techniques, I empathetically painted a picture of the current situation of the target audience and what their life would look like after they opted in for the program. To ensure an error-free copy and catch accidental plagiarism, I used CopyScape and Grammarly to conduct quality assurance checks.
Turnaround time: I completed the entire process within the required timeframe.
Result: The sales page and ad copy yielded a 712.5% return on investment.
