Brooke, an experienced psychologist, paediatric sleep specialist and the founder of Calm Space Psychology, is an expert in her field.
Based in South Australia, Calm Space Psychology offers incredible sleep support services, paediatric clinical counselling and education sessions with a proactive and
nurturing approach.
They use scientifically validated research and extensive hands-on experience to offer their clients personalised and tailored solutions for better sleep and calmer living.
Brooke was so used to using a formal voice and tone for mediums like reports. She had difficulty switching from this to a more accessible, warm and friendly tone of voice.
She wanted her new project, a series of informational e-books, to sound more inviting and friendly and show her expert knowledge.
Due to the nature of this project as a paid product, I am presenting this portfolio piece as a short case study.
I helped Brooke put together 4 e-books that provide parents with helpful information and actionable steps they can implement into their routine to improve their child’s sleep and their own to reduce stress.
Each book focused on a different age group. Brooke had all the wonderful ideas and needed assistance in clearly explaining the information.
She was concerned she had too much information and struggled to write it in an engaging way.
What we did:
Presented the information clearly and simply for parents to understand, free of jargon.
Formatted the information in an easy, digestible way.
Conveyed Calm Space Psychology’s authority and high-level expertise.
Brooke was so happy to have a fresh perspective on the project, making the voice, tone and content of the e-books accessible and engaging to her readers.
