Real Estate Property Data Extraction and Automation

I designed and implemented a comprehensive automation solution using Make.com to extract real estate property data from Redfin for one of my San Francisco clients. This workflow efficiently collects, parses, and stores property listings into Google Sheets, providing real-time notifications for new or updated listings.

The client, a real estate professional in San Francisco, faced challenges with manually collecting and updating property data from Redfin, a time-consuming and error-prone process. They sought an automated solution to streamline data acquisition, ensure accuracy, and receive timely alerts for new listings.

The Solution:

The Make.com-powered automation solution I developed addressed the following key areas:

Automated Data Retrieval: The workflow utilized Make.com's Redfin module to automatically search and extract property listing data based on specified criteria (e.g., location, price range, property type). Data extraction included details like property address, price, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, square footage, photos, and other relevant information.

Data Parsing and Transformation: Extracted data was parsed and transformed into a structured format suitable for storage in Google Sheets. Make.com's data manipulation tools were used to clean, filter, and organize data as needed.

Google Sheets Integration: Parsed data was seamlessly integrated and stored in designated Google Sheets. Make.com's Google Sheets module facilitated real-time updates whenever new listings were found or existing listings were modified.

Real-time Notifications: The workflow included customizable notification options, such as email alerts or mobile push notifications, to inform the client about new or updated property listings in real-time.
