Live Quote Calculator for WordPress, Priced on the Server
Zakaria MAMOUMI
The project
A WordPress plugin that shows visitors an instant price from a price list, then sends the owner their request with the price recalculated on the server. The kind of form a print shop, a packaging maker or a cleaning company puts on a page.
What I built
A live total that updates as the visitor picks a quantity and options
A PHP pricing engine that recalculates every request, so a total edited in the browser never reaches the inbox
A clear notice to the visitor when prices changed after the page was loaded
One accent colour setting, everything else inherits the site's theme
The result
61 automated tests, plus checks inside a real WordPress install
Source code public on GitHub, so you can read it before hiring me
Stack: WordPress, PHP, JavaScript.
