SEO, AEO, GEO. Soon, Lord willing, there will be enough _EO's for the entire alphabet. I did not imagine when I went to FSU for front-end design, that I would be able to work in the SEO sector, helping to improve companies visibility to searches of all kinds. But, thanks to this newest job, here I am.

I began working with the digital marketing agency Ten Speed in October, and this Case Study is to reflect on the first month of working with them. The above image is the /blog page of their own site, which is one aspect of the work they allowed me to take on. It shows three posts that I myself posted for them. The rest of the work they have assigned to me is doing the same SEO with their clients blog pages.

I hope that my opening paragraph did not make me sound ungrateful by mentioning that this was not the work that I thought I was going to be doing. To be very clear, this job is maybe the best one that has come to me through my first few months of doing this incredible job full time. I have been blessed to work with such a professional, high level agency. I will continue to work my tail off to deliver for them, in an act of retribution for them looking my way.

So far, my favorite part of working with this contract has been the following two items:

I have been able to learn 6!!! new CMS that I have never worked with in my life and it has been a very humbling and beneficial experience.

When being hired, I asked the person I was speaking with, what about me has made you believe I was the right hire over some other candidates, and they told me that it was my portfolio website design that caught their eye! It was the most seen I had ever felt, that the site that I poured over a week worth of work into was finally helping me get clients!

I am not slowing down, still giving it my all, and enjoying every bit of it along the way, from new experiences and expertises to scary meetings way out of my league. It's moments like this I thank God I took the leap and I thank Him for placing the stones across the river for me to land on.
