Going into FSU my freshman year, my goal was set on creating the application that put me in the tier of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. Obviously high standards, I wanted to be another white man largely misusing my copious amounts of money for my own gain. My mom would be so proud. Of course, like all Computer Scientists aspiring to build Apps felt in 2024, AI scared me out of my degree as a Junior and I switched to Information Communication Technology, so that I could partner with AI to make front-end communication systems. And when I graduated, I started making Apps. It was like nothing can pull a kid out of a dream they had when they were 7, and they would find their finish line. Walter marks the beginning of my commissioned App building career. Although it is the 3rd paid App job I have posted on Contra, it has just been the longest journey, starting from nothing but a proposition.

Walter is not yet out for public use, and is instead in TestFlight for testing, but has been sent to Apple for it's initial release as of last week. We know that there is much more to go for Walter before it is a finished product, but this has come so far already, and is something that we can be very proud of. For now, the following is an elongated list of all features and functionality of the App currently.

An hourly-rotating recommended trip to any select location.

A few categories of popular trips, as well as a category dedicated to trips that have been planned on the platform by member of the communicated, then voted on by other members of the community.

A chat functionality with Walter, personal AI agent who can plan the perfect trip just by sending a couple texts, it can be super quick or super complex, up to the user.

A couple extra pages after the home to make sure every part of your trip is set as the user wants and then links to each payment offered all on one page and tracked by Walter, with a map showing each event in location to one another.
