Overview
For this assignment from Penn Foster Group, I created a TikTok video and a singular image post using Canva, both aimed at engaging a younger audience under 19 who may be considering returning to online high school with Penn Foster. The content addresses the anxiety and mixed feelings that students often experience about going back to school, particularly in an online setting.
Assignment
The TikTok video uses relatable scenarios and a comforting tone to connect with students who might feel overwhelmed by the idea of returning to school. It highlights the flexibility and support that Penn Foster offers, reassuring viewers that they are not alone in their journey.
The Canva image post complements the video, featuring an inviting design that resonates with the target audience's aesthetic preferences. It emphasizes the key message that Penn Foster provides a safe, flexible, and supportive environment for students to thrive academically while managing their personal anxieties about school.

Inspiration
One of the best ways to be integrated into the TikTok space is by responding to what others are posting. In this example, we would react to a high schooler’s video with our own spin. This would use the ‘Stitch’ function.

Online high school is almost like a regular school except better.
There aren’t any set schedules, deadlines, or due dates. That flexibility allows you to learn at your pace, with help from faculty when you need it.
