Brand Identity Design for Bas & Boo

They came to me because they needed brand visuals that reflected the quality of the service and the personal experience they offered.

The goal was to create an identity that felt warm, clear, and trustworthy while still standing out in a space that often leans too corporate.

We designed a logotype that’s simple, friendly, and easy to read, with an ampersand that subtly includes a heart shape tying in with their focus on care and hands-on service.

The overall layout is clean and flexible, making it easy to use across invoices, signage, and print without losing any personality. It feels personal, but not unprofessional.

The founder requested a specific green and pink colour, so I refined those tones to create a palette that felt accessible and intentional. A deep green was introduced to bring contrast and structure, while the darker pink adds energy and warmth.

I swapped out bright white for a soft neutral to keep everything feeling friendly and less clinical. Altogether, the palette balances playfulness and premium.

Typography is modern and clean, with enough character to feel welcoming. It was chosen for both readability and tone.

Everything from the invoices to the staff onboarding booklets were designed to feel clear and easy to navigate. The print layouts mirror the same tone as the brand overall: confident, but approachable.

I used colour, type, and space intentionally to avoid clutter making it easier for clients to understand the offering and feel reassured about what they’re getting.

I created social assets that help the brand show up consistently online with messaging and visuals that feel cohesive and easy to build on over time.

Everything was designed with client ease in mind: quick to update, easy to reuse, and consistent across platforms.
