Project Overview

I was contracted by the president of CMH Mexico to design and develop their flagship website for Latin America. While using the international CMH Heli-Ski site as a reference, the project required significant adaptation to meet the needs of a new market. I enhanced the UX/UI to better explain the nuances of different mountains and experiences offered, ensuring the site was accessible and engaging for Latin American visitors. The website was built from scratch—creating a custom web style guide, developing responsive layouts, handcrafting animations, and fully translating the content. The result was a localized, modern website that reflects CMH’s high-end positioning while connecting directly with sales channels to drive inquiries and conversions.

Client’s Goal

The client needed a flagship website to serve as the foundation for all marketing and sales campaigns in Latin America. The goal was to communicate the premium nature of CMH’s heli-skiing experiences while presenting detailed information on mountains, trips, and packages in a way that resonated with a new audience. Beyond branding, the site needed to act as a functional sales tool—localized, trustworthy, and visually stunning—to anchor CMH’s expansion in the region.

Challenges

The main challenge was localizing an international brand for a new market without losing its premium essence. This required not just translation, but cultural adaptation and UX adjustments to make the content accessible and compelling for Latin American clients. The website was also large in scope, with complex information to organize, multiple experiences to explain, and a need for strong visual storytelling. Additionally, custom animations had to be designed and implemented carefully to elevate the experience while maintaining performance.

Process

Discovery: Defined goals with CMH Mexico leadership and aligned with global brand standards.
Research: Studied the international site and identified opportunities for localization and improvement.
Style Guide Creation: Built a digital identity system tailored to Latin America while honoring CMH’s brand.
Wireframing & UX Design: Structured content for clarity, guiding users through mountains and experiences.
UI Design: Applied premium aesthetics with focus on readability, visuals, and storytelling.
Webflow Development: Built the site from scratch with responsive layouts and bilingual support.
Custom Animations: Designed and hand-coded subtle interactions to elevate the brand feel.
Launch & Integration: Connected contact forms and lead funnels to the sales team’s workflows.

Project Outcome

The website launched successfully, becoming CMH Mexico’s flagship platform for sales and marketing in Latin America. It communicates the high-end nature of heli-skiing while making the experiences approachable for a new audience. By combining localization, UX/UI enhancements, and custom development, the site set the foundation for CMH’s expansion in the region. It now serves as both a marketing hub and a practical sales tool—elevating brand perception while driving inquiries and client engagement.
