About product

VibePass is a social platform for discovering events, meeting people, and experiencing city nightlife through shared interests and recommendations from friends, creators, and local communities.
The app helps users find concerts, parties, exhibitions, and underground events nearby, while organizers get tools to promote events, build communities, and attract the right audience.
VibePass focuses not only on ticket sales, but on the emotional side of going out — spontaneity, social connection, and shared experiences.

The challenge

The client needed to create not just another ticket platform – yep, we already know so much platforms, but them are always posting popular or base stuff. We needed to create a product that would feel alive, social, and emotionally engaging for a young audience. VibePass with it's own vibe.

The main goal was to rethink the traditional event experience and transform it into a community-driven platform where discovering people, atmospheres, and local culture becomes part of the product itself.

The project required:
designing clear participant and organizer flows,
building intuitive event discovery mechanics,
creating unique social and referral features,
prototyping the full mobile experience,
and developing a strong visual identity inspired by nightlife culture.
But we are there not only for vibe and emotional design. Another major focus was placed on creating “killer features” that would differentiate the platform from traditional ticket services — including friend activity, media partnerships, creator-driven promotion, and bonus systems tied to social interaction.

Key solutions & visual direction

One of the key solutions was shifting the platform away from static event listings and building the experience around social discovery. Instead of focusing only on tickets, the product encourages users to explore events through friend activity, creator recommendations, local communities, and shared experiences. The platform turns nightlife into something participatory and community-driven rather than transactional.
The project also included designing two interconnected ecosystems: the participant flow and the organizer flow. While users receive a fast and emotionally engaging event discovery experience, organizers gain tools for audience management, promotion, analytics, and collaborations with creators and media partners.

About using film photography in key visuals

The branding direction was heavily inspired by European student nightlife, underground music culture, and modern Gen Z visual language. Instead of clean corporate aesthetics commonly used in ticket services, the visual identity embraces imperfection, spontaneity, and emotional atmosphere. Dark immersive interfaces, oversized typography, film photography, neon lighting, grain textures, and cinematic compositions were used to recreate the feeling of a chaotic night with your friends out inside the product itself. Film-like photography and heavy grain effects also became a central part of the visual direction. Today, analog photography aesthetics are extremely popular among Gen Z because they communicate authenticity and emotional presence in contrast to overly polished social media content. Grain, blur, flash overexposure, and imperfect compositions create the feeling of real memories captured in the moment rather than staged marketing imagery.
