People often struggle to find restaurants that are both open and available, especially during peak dining hours. This leads to wasted time, frustration, and poor dining experiences. Existing solutions—online searches, reviews, and phone calls are slow and unreliable, while most restaurant discovery apps lack real-time visibility into availability and crowd levels.

Design a real-time restaurant discovery app that helps users quickly find restaurants that are open and have tables available, with intuitive search, detailed venue profiles, and personalized recommendations.

Both quantitative and qualitative research methods were used for this project. A survey was conducted with 10 participants, followed by in-depth interviews with 3 participants to gain deeper insights into user needs and behaviors.
