Why are carousels better than reels on Instagram?
Well, carousels might not get as many views as a video, however, they make it way easier to sell.
"How so?"
Calls to action (CTAs) on carousels don't affect reach as much because the first few slides are way more important than the last one.
Meaning that you can offer your stuff on every single post.
Unlike reels, where CTAs strongly reduce average view time, and therefore, views.
So if you want to start making sales and stop chasing vanity metrics, focus on carousels, not reels.
