OneSight is the global vision care nonprofit on a mission to bring an eye exam and pair of glasses to the 1.1 billion people worldwide that lack access. Through charitable vision clinics and sustainable programming, OneSight is helping the world see.
The Ask
The organization was looking to grow its brand awareness by reaching new audiences and optimizing how potential and existing supporters experienced the brand online. They sought my support to act as a long-term partner in transforming their social media, content, and marketing strategy efforts.
The Solution
Year over year, I continued to create, implement, and analyze content and strategies across digital touchpoints. My primary focus has been to forge strong relationships with supporters through deepening brand storytelling and connected multi-channel campaigns.
Using storytelling as a catalyst for impact, I have crafted a powerful collection of evergreen OneSight patient, volunteer, and partner stories for use across brand touchpoints. I’ve also developed content strategies, copy, and creative assets for OneSight’s website, email, social media, community engagement, and internal communications in addition to producing over 70 blog posts.
My approach has been to foster ongoing engagement with existing supporters and engage new donors through impact storytelling and strategic communications while collaborating with global team members to ease internal processes.
The Results
With my help, OneSight began receiving higher engagement on digital channels and increased traffic across web and social. Internal teams were better equipped to contribute to impact storytelling efforts, and we were able to begin forging deeper connections with supporters through optimized strategies.
