Designing Card Con’s Digital Experience

Card Con & Coloristy

When the Card Con team reached out, their goal was simple: they wanted a website that felt as alive as the event itself.
Their old site wasn’t doing them justice. It was static, difficult to update, and didn’t capture the energy of an event that brings together thousands of collectors, vendors, and fans every year.
They needed a digital space that could build hype, sell tickets, and highlight the community that makes Card Con what it is.
We joined the Card Con team as an extension of their own, starting with a teaser landing page that sparked early buzz and then building it out into a full seven-page website. From strategy to launch, we handled everything across About, Tickets, Vendors, Sponsors, and Meet & Greet.
We started by defining the site structure with the organizers, then set the visual direction through moodboards inspired by collectible textures, bold type, and modern gradients.
Once the wireframes were set, we refined the content with the team and built a visual style that matched Card Con’s vibe, using bold gradients and subtle card-like elements.
We added light animations, built everything in Framer with a simple CMS, and made sure the site was fast and smooth on every device. We launched it in two phases: a teaser first, then the full site, along with a small icon set inspired by trading-card shapes.
The redesigned site brought in earlier sign-ups, stronger sponsor responses, better on-site engagement, and a CMS the team can update without support.
Together, we built a space that feels true to the Card Con community and easy for the team to grow over time.
