FamSham came to us with an idea that was instantly exciting:
a digital space where families can share memories, moments, and everyday chaos without the pressure of social media.
We kicked things off with wireframes.
Before jumping into colors or illustrations, we mapped out the entire flow, onboarding, category selection, creating questions, the home feed, profiles… everything. Getting the skeleton right makes building the rest so much easier.
It also helped us see how the app should “feel.”
FamSham needed to be warm, friendly, and not intimidating. So every screen had to be simple enough that even a first-time user wouldn’t feel lost.
FamSham wanted:
A friendly, easy-to-use interface
A visual identity that felt personal but not childish
A layout that let users share photos, polls, and stories effortlessly
A design system that could scale as they added features
Most importantly, they wanted everything to feel light, fun, and clutter-free, something your parents and your siblings would enjoy using.
We started by defining the feeling of the app- warmth, nostalgia, and that familiar family energy, long before touching visuals.
From there, we built a playful yet trustworthy brand identity with soft colors, rounded shapes, and character-filled icons
We designed product screens that feel like a private family scrapbook, with intuitive cards, chats, reactions, and flows that even non-techy users can navigate easily. And to make sure FamSham can scale, we built a modular design system with reusable components, tokens, and motion guidelines to support future growth.
FamSham left with a warm, polished app that felt like the relationships it was built for a clear identity, cohesive UI, effortless usability, and just the right amount of playfulness. We also set up a solid design foundation so the product can grow without losing its personality. The founders told us the final result “finally feels like FamSham,” which is the best feedback we could hope for.
If you’re building a consumer, social, or community-focused product, we’d love to help shape it into something clean, lovable, and truly yours.
