Ciancé is a restaurant concept that was still taking shape when the project began. Together with the client, we defined its identity from the ground up through a naming workshop, developing the name and tagline and building a brand that could guide both communication and the physical space.
The concept draws from the idea of a relaxed chat with a friend over some tapas and cocktails. The identity reflects this convivial spirit through an edgy logo with an evocative detail, a color palette that’s both lively and elegant, and rounded graphic elements which recall the arches that frame the view of the hills. The zig-zag walkway at the entrance informed a dynamic typographic style, adding movement to photography that feels spontaneous and appetising.
Alongside the brand kit, I designed adaptable social media templates in Canva, defined the photography style, sourced and art directed the photographer, and supported the client in imagining the space and furniture, ensuring the brand translated consistently from identity to experience.
