A print for Forum, a Brazilian fashion brand established in 1981, developed for their Autumn/Winter 2022 collection around the season's theme: Aspen.
The skiers and the mountain range were painted in acrylic on paper, then scanned and composed digitally. The artwork was built as a scarf print, a closed square with its own border, not a continuous repeat.
That decision meant more work downstream. Each garment was engineered separately: the layout was fitted to the pattern pieces so the border would land on the hems, cuffs and waistbands. The dress, the shorts and the cropped top each got their own placement.
Hand-painted elements. Acrylic on paper, before scanning.
Scarf layout. Engineered to the pattern pieces of each garment.
The print across the collection: dress, cropped jacket and separates. Forum AW22 campaign.
